Next week, Austin Psych Fest will be rocking the banks of the Colorado River at Carson Creek Ranch. A three-day explosion of all things stylish, delectable and—of course—sonically psychedelic, the festival will be an unforgettable chapter in Austin music history.

palmer//harding: Opulent Minimalism

On a crisp autumn day in London, at the sumptuous Somerset House, three models gazed dreamily at the crowd, showcasing a trio of tailored shirts. Alternately belted, sheer and sporting a fringe of delicate cork, the garments were part minimalist Francisco Costa, part modernist Helmut Lang and entirely palmer//harding.

Though designer Levi Palmer grew up in Belton, Texas, it was in the world of style that he felt most at home. “I was always enamored by the glamorous idea of fashion,” he says. “No matter what outfit you put on in the morning, it can change your persona and the way people react to you. I liked being in control of those reactions.”
