Girls Guild Workshops at the Trans-Pecos Festival by Susannah Duerr

As if the Trans-Pecos Festival’s promise of food, music, and camping under the West Texas stars wasn’t enough, Girls Guild will be on-site with art workshops run by local Austin artists. A collaborative community for female artists, Girls Guild will offer three workshops run by four such women at the festival. Open not only to women but also to “all gender identities 16 and up”, the three workshops provide the tools, materials, and expertise needed to walk away from the festival with a piece of personalized, hand-crafted art, not to mention the know-how to make more.
