The W Austin celebrated its oneyear anniversary in December. The event began with a nod to its opening date by offering a $1.29 S.I.P. (Social Interactive Playtime), also known as a happy hour menu, and continued with a toast from General Manager Drew McQuade and Stratus Properties CEO Beau Armstrong, along with a tribute from members of ZACH Theatre. The night capped off with a disco-themed event in the Records Room, where folks danced to the tunes of DJ Mike Swing.
