Valentine's Day with Restaurant Jezebel
Chef Parind Vora of Restaurant Jezebel certainly knows how to tantalize the taste buds with a little suspense. After a devastating fire in 2010, Restaurant Jezebel is set to reopen this summer on West Sixth Street, but every good chef knows you need a little amuse-bouche to whet your appetite. Chef Vora is doing just that: Restaurant Jezebel is coming back to life for a single, extravagant Valentine’s Day dinner at the chef’s private residence.
The evening will take its cues from cuisines all around the world, beginning with an Asian-inspired Maine Lobster Spring Roll before heading down south for Cajun Blackened Andouille Sausage over cheese grits. For the main course, guests will have a selection of Roasted Moulard Duck Breast, Chilean Sea Bass with chimichurri cream, Beef Wellington and a vegetarian Eggplant Roulade. Finish off the evening with Chef Vora’s twist on French Toast, topped with ice cream and a decadent honey lavender goat cheese. Equal parts decadent and delicate, this four-course dinner is sure to offer an unforgettable experience for you and your special someone.
The dinner takes place on Tuesday, February 14 at 7:30pm. Seats are $120 per person and available online. Reservations are required. The location will be disclosed upon payment.
